Google helped the creators of the game opening their Maps tool for the purpose of “hiding” pokemons in different locations. The game had an excellent response and caused great interest among the audience of all ages.
In order to celebrate the international Mario Day, March 10th, the two companies re-joined forces. One of the most popular games linking the legendary SuperMario character, Mario Kart will be on maps of Google Maps. For a period of one week, (starting from yesterday 11.03.), The icon that symbolizes the location you are on can be replaced with the legendary cartoon hero who drives karting.
To use the feature, you need to have the latest software upgrade to the application installed. Then, search your destination as usual. To turn on the Mario mode, you need to select the recognizable “question mark”. It will appear next to the usual “start” button.
Because such a meaningful function does not have any particular practical purpose, it is quite possible that it is working to promote a new game designed for smart devices that has yet to appear.
